Best chip shop in Eastbourne, have been going here for over 2 years, it has always been good but even better since the new owners took over, also very recently they have a whole new menu, a wide variety of options so if you haven't been for a while, definitely check it out. All the staff are happy, friendly and welcoming, the portion sizes are amazing, the waiting time is very good, packaging is always great, keeps the food together and warm always until I get home, even on the cold windy nights haha. Most importantly the food is delicious, the chips, saveloy, sausages, burgers are the best in Eastbourne by far, taste & portion size. I love jacket potatoes and I am so pleased Sovereign Fish Bar are now doing them, the potato is huge, the inside and skin is baked perfectly and the toppings are a great portion also, you can get beans, chicken, coleslaw, Mayo, cheese and more options. They come with a lovely salad aswell, lovely presentation and so green and fresh The fish & chicken wings are also my favourite, largest haddock in Eastbourne and I have tried a lot of chip shops haha. The Desserts are amazing too, cheese cake & chocolate fudge cake I love. Highly Recommend

Have gone back here after being recommended by my friend as it used to be awful so stopped using this place . New people know how to cook fish & chips ! It's usually very busy so you may have a small wait. I haven't eaten anything else apart from fish ,& chips , so I can not comment on their varied menu .

Always great fish and chips, freshly cooked with really nice batter on flaky fish. Chips are crispy outside but soft inside - very nice. We take them down to the beach hut on a Wednesday night in the Summer and share with the family! Highly recommended, but don't make too big a queue please, I'm starving!
